The Opportunity
This role will support the Director of Finance with the annual budget and quarterly forecasting efforts as well as ensuring financial and non-financial metrics are adhered to. This role functions as a business partner.
Your day-to-day
1. Tracking monthly results and providing analysis and commentary on actuals, budgets, and forecasts for financials and key metrics.
2. Working with multiple departments to build annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
3. Consolidating group budgets and forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow).
4. Responsible for building and maintaining financial models to support leadership team with strategic decision making.
5. Continuously review and propose reporting improvements.
6. Supporting the team with ad hoc projects as required.
Who you are
1. Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity in a fast-paced environment with a thorough understanding of consolidation.
3. You are curious by nature, a problem solver and must have a keen interest in analysis.
4. Must be willing to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing environments.
5. Effective verbal and written communication with the ability to interact with all levels is a must.
6. Strong experience with MS Office, with Excel modelling skills.
7. Must be self-driven and a team player.
8. Experience in Xero and Fathom will be advantageous.
