Bank Group Product Control
The successful candidate for this role will be expected to perform the following roles and responsibilities (but not limited to):
Perform and/or supervise below tasks:
Daily Responsibilities
Daily PL report production and PL attribution & analysis
Daily commentary on significant PL movement
Monitoring of New Deals, Late Deals and Market Operations
Monitoring checks on transactions done at Off Market rates
Investigate and follow up on breaches on threshold limits for unexplained PL attributions
Assist teammates in any other daily production related tasks
Prepare journals to correct GL postings to correct imperfect trade booking system feeds
Ad-hoc / Ongoing Responsibilities
Streamline workflows to enhance operational efficiency within the team
Handle ad-hoc queries from Front Office/Risk Management Group/Operations/Group Finance
Provide cover for other team members
Requirements
Essential
1-3 years of experience in Banking Finance, Audit or Product Control function
Knowledge of Treasury products, derivatives, and options
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
Strong team player, strong control awareness and inquisitive mindset
Motivated and task driven individual with ability to deliver results under tight deadlines
Preferred
Degree holder in Accountancy, Business or Finance and/or other related fields
Tableau and/or other data visualization and business analytics tools
Understanding and application of Murex
