Job Description Summary Program Management

Project Management is responsible for managing significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, etc.), and includes business systems analysis or technical writing. Activities require a broad knowledge of the organization and its key functions. The Project Management focus specializes in the management of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures, etc.). Typically works on multi-disciplinary projects, and requires a broad knowledge of the firm and its functions.

The Technology function is responsible for activities related to the strategic direction and control of all information systems and technology capabilities, both internally and externally. Includes system design and programming, network planning, budget planning, database management, and computer operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Stakeholder and Communications Management

• Manage all aspects of project and support program manager in overall engagement from planning, external vendor relationships,

communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues

• Continually manage stakeholder expectations through governance processes

• Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication

• Provide status reporting regarding milestones, deliverable, dependencies, communicating across leadership and business stakeholders

• Process and Delivery Execution

• Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business

• Full project end to end life cycle ownership to ensure successful project delivery

• Manage all aspects of the projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives

• Prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project

• Ensure assignment of adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes

• Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings

• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs

• Manage project scope and changes

• Act as an internal quality control check for the project

• Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution

• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel

• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables

• Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards

• Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline

• Provide progress reporting to senior management
