Job description

The chosen candidate will be a Group Finance Platform - Business Analyst, part of Finance Platform project team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing and evaluating business processes, systems, and requirements and work towards rebuilding it within the new module.

The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements, analyze data, and brainstorm + recommend solutions to enhance business functionalities and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement

2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project strategies and objectives

3. Create, Groom and maintain Business Requirements / User stories, Data models and Data flow, Functional Specifications to effectively communicate business requirements to development teams.

4. Perform data analysis to extract valuable insights, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.

5. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that solutions align with business requirements and are delivered within established timelines.

6. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements, and to address concerns and questions.

7. Develop and execute test plans to ensure that delivered solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.

8. Assist in change management activities, including communication, training, and support, to ensure a smooth transition during the implementation of changes.

9. Monitor and assess the performance of implemented solutions, and recommend further optimizations as needed.

10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement and proposing innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or) Accounting (or) Information Technology, (or) related field.

· Proven experience around 8-12 years as a Business Analyst in a similar role within Finance systems is strongly required.

· Conversant with Agile practices and methodologies. Exposure to JIRA and Confluence is strongly required.

· Experience around Finance ERP systems & solution is strongly preferred.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

· Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.

· Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
