Job description

 

The Assistant Product Manager, Overseas Property Financing (OPF), will be part of the team overseeing the OPF mortgage business across the entire Consumer Banking Group.

 

This position will focus on the provision of support to the OPF Product Manager in order to drive business growth and manage key risks through timely and appropriate monitoring and interventions.

 

JOB SCOPE AND DUTIES

1.      Contribute to the execution of key business strategies in order to drive and sustain profitability and loan book growth

 

2.      Campaign Management - support the delivery of business acquisition campaigns (such as promotional pricing) from end-to-end, including all related marketing and fulfillment

 

3.      Operational Escalations/Handling - take charge of and resolve operational escalations pertaining to the loan life-cycle from both Front and Back Office colleagues, including but not limited to, loan application, account maintenance and loan prepayments

 

4.      Project Timeline Management - track and maintain the product team's task list and project outstandings, and work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely satisfaction of timelines and deliverables

 

5.      Data Management - manage business data and provide required information in an accurate, timely and orderly manner so as to support business objectives. This also includes basic analysis and presentation of key data in appropriate formats

 

6.      Business Processes Management - manage key business processes that includes the trigger and oversight of end-to-end portfolio risk management activities (e.g. periodic collateral to loan valuation shortfall annual property revaluation and any other exercises that may arise from time to time, so as to mitigate portfolio related risks). This involves working with stakeholders from Credit Approval and Credit Policy Teams, as well as Relationship Managers (based locally and abroad) and Operations

 

7.      Marketing Support and Content Creation - develop content and provide back-end marketing support in order to ensure high quality, accurate and meaningful content marketing initiatives are delivered on time to both external and internal clients

 

8.      Marketing Analytics - build up the team's marketing analytics capabilities through the guided creation of dashboards using Adobe Analytics-, and perform analysis of data to provide key insights to management

 

9.      Experimentation Support - support the ongoing experimentation efforts of the team to ensure creative business ideas are tested and implemented. This includes creating back-end experimentation setup, monitoring and executing these experiments

 

10.  IT System Maintenance and Enhancements - support backend IT enhancements from end to end, including participation in regular teleconferencing calls and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and live verification exercises. This also includes resolving IT issues as escalated by users of the bank systems relevant to OPF.

 

 

11.  Knowledge Management - ensure that the team's information is well maintained, including ensuring that business information and data are archived appropriately and stored in a secure and easily accessible fashion

 

12. Parameter, Template and Webpage Management - ensure that all system parameters, letter templates and both public and internal content on webpages are properly updated and maintained

 

13. Others - duties that may be assigned from time to time in support of team objectives

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university

2. Meticulous, detailed and careful as many tasks have a major impact on the OPF business

3. Willingness to learn on the job

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including prioritization of multiple job tasks

5. Possess good communication and business writing skills

6. Curious and keen to identify problems and propose suitable solutions

7. Competent in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word.

Knowledge of Adobe Analytics is a plus

8. Working experience is a good to have but not mandatory

9. Marketing content creation good to have but not mandatory
