Position Overview

This department in the bank is a Regional Processing Center (Hub & Spoke) supporting Treasury & Market (T&M) businesses in the region. The hub and spoke model allow T&M business to scale up while remaining agile in product and service offerings in the fast, evolving market environment.

 

As T&M business expands product offerings in the region coupled with the dynamic regulatory environment, T&M Ops leverages on this unique advantage to continue to standardize processes to manage processing risk and to facilitate automation as well as governance of service level and quality.

 

Staff is given opportunities to undertake Trade Reporting support role, exposure to engage with the Legal & Compliance, T&M Business and Technology, Co-create and co-partner in our continual pursuit towards compliant and accurate Regulatory Reporting obligation to major Jurisdictions e.g MAS, ASIC, MiFID, EMIR, CFTC etc

 

Essential Job Functions

 

1. Provide end to end OTC transaction life-cycle reporting support for T&M derivatives products to fulfil regulatory reporting obligation

2. Ensure Data accuracy and timely reporting

3. Ensure Risk Control, risk architecture and completeness are adhered to

4. Be Data driven, build and measure TMO Performance Service, Quality and Data Analysis via DDOM (Data Driven Operating Model) Dashboards

5. Review legacy processes and exception handling to eliminate toil in processes and cultivate FO & L&C changing behavior

 

Trade Repository (TR) Reporting

1. Validate on the daily TR reports being House and or Client Delegation.

2. Investigate on any discrepancies and investigation on root cause

3. Monitor the report acknowledgement and investigate for any rejected trades.

4. Review the successfully submitted report in DTCC-GTR and EOD completeness

5. Engage on the build of TR Reporting (new, revise, update)

6. Keep abreast of regulatory updates

7. Support NPA (New Product Agreement) & Lite (inclusive of PIR), review all NPAs related to TR, raise any deviations for execution, monitor till launch & signoffs

8. Support on Delegate Reporting of CFTC end to end from issuing of SLA to tagging of system and reporting obligation
