Responsibilities:

 

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager who excels at communication and problem-solving and strategic planning to manage and deliver a portfolio of 100 Change requests annually, totaling a value of SGD 10million. As Digital Project manager role, demand a proactive individual who can drive successful delivery by managing and taking lead role including identify and mitigate risks/issues, managing budgets, improving processes, and fostering strong relationship with both the business and delivery team to implement changes requests

 

Project & Change Request Management

·       Lead end to end management of change requests, ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.

·       Prioritize and balance the portfolio of 100 CRs based on business impact, resource, and budget constraints.

·       Assume the Project Manager and/or Lead for specific projects assignment

·       Proactively identify and resolve issues, bottlenecks and conflicts that may arise during the boat size port folio management process, employing critical thinking and sound judgment

·       Coordinate activities across multiple teams. Both internal and external to ensure smooth execution of initiatives and adhere to project timeline

 

Stakeholder Communication & Presentation

  • Develop ad present project pitches and updates effectively to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Clearly communicate project objectives, progress, risk and mitigation plans, adapting messing to technical and business audiences.

Risk Identification & Issue Resolution

  • Proactively assess, identify and manage risks, analyze issues and implement action plans to mitigation impacts on portfolio delivery as well as keep a track of project delivery and proactively address potential issues and arrive at a mitigation/escalation at right time

  • Maintain a solution-oriented approach, demonstrating strong problem solving ability under complex matrix stakeholders and various constraints.

Process Improvement

·       Continuously analyse existing process, identify area for improvement, seek opportunities to streamline process, improve efficiency and enhance ways of working across the project life cycle.

·       Ascertain and implement best practices with stakeholders across the organization, and continuously to initiate the better way of working to improve project racking, reporting and quality control measures. Implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivities within portfolio management domain

 

Budgetary & Resource Managment

  • Annual plan of 100% budget utilization linked to prioritized business value and regulatory requirements.

  • Timely and high-quality reporting/management involve timely budget billing, and fund drawdown.

  • Updated centralize track of overall boatsize delivery covering in Jira/confluence flow including backlog, status, resource, financial, risk, and dependency profiles.

  • Control and track project budgets and utilization, at all times and ensure it stays within the regional & quarterly allocations. Initiate and propose budget reallocation within delivery and support team to ensure fully utilization by end of the year.

  • Ability to track aging, performance of CR boat size, close the project issues on time

  • Work closely with Technical Delivery team to manage squad resource, balancing loads and optimizing team productivity to meet the delivery goals, accommodating ad-hoc requirements, and not miss the regulatory requirements,

  • Maintain accurate and up to date key documentations, including status report. Project plan. Budget drawdown/allocations and other relevant artefacts

 

Team Leadership and Collaboration

·       Act as a liaison between business and delivery team, promoting open communication and effective coordination

·       Mentor and guide Retail business partner involving digital governance and connect to relevant product owners, business lead digital to fostering a positive and productive project environment.

 

Frameworks, process assurance, risk management

  • Work with various stakeholders (Business/Product Owner, Program / Project Managers., Technical Delivery Managers, SDMteam) review and propose refinements to the Ways of Working and associated SDM deliverables, in particular optimizing Agile vs Waterfall frameworks

  • Track and manage Risk Appetite statement performance, MRAs, and Audits

Requirements:

Requirements: 

  • Project Management Certification, Lean /Six Sigma (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Agile or equivaent) is preferred

  • Experienced of having direct responsibility for project with budget size of $10 to $20 million.

  • 8+ years of experience in retail banking , and exposure to banking, product, operations, and process.

  • Excellent client-facing. Executive level communication skills with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience in full end-to-end project management in a lead role and/ or Background in Business analysis or experience in an agile Agile/Scrum environment and framework, e.g. sprint planning, sprint review, backlog grooming, etc.

 

  • Proficient in excel and project management tools (e..g JIRA. Confluence, Excel advance skills). Technical domain expertise is an advantage, but at minimum is tech-savvy.

 

  • Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions in the bank.

  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire cross -functional team to achieve project objectives.

  • Ability to managing multiple priorities simultaneously and perform well under pressure and tight timeline

  • Exceptional organizational and coordination abilities. with a keen eye for detail and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget

  • Experience: Min 5 to 8 years in project and program management experience with a focus on digital initiatives. Proven experience in managing high-value and complex portfolio.

  • Communication: Strong Pitching, presentation, and written communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and covey project updates and insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and cross-functional teams.

  •  Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing risk, troubleshoots issues, and make data driven decisionsrelated to resource allocation, project timelines, and financial metrics to keep portfolio on healthy track.

  • Budget Management: Demonstrated success in managing project budgets delivery cost effective solutions and optimizing resources

  • Process Improvement: Experience in implementing process improvement that enhance project efficiency and quality.

  •  Leadership: Effective leadership and collaboration skills to drive cross funtional team toward common goals and maintain effective communication channels.

  •  Strategic Thinking: Ability to align program activities with overarching business objectives and strategic priorities.

  •  Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in resource management, project scope, and delivery timelines.

  • Technical skills: Jira, confluence, powerpoints, excel advance.
