Job Description

The bank is looking for a Short Video Social Content Creator to join its Strategic Marketing & Communications team. You’ll be part of Bank’s in-house content team centre, working with a team of strategists and storytellers to bring the Bank’s brand to life through fast, fresh, and culturally relevant social content.

Your mission: to translate big ideas, campaigns, and everyday moments into content that feels alive on the platforms people actually use - from TikTok to Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and whatever comes next.

You should be fluent in digital storytelling and short-form content, able to move fast on trends, and have a sharp sense of what will resonate with the different social personas across social platforms. This role requires both creativity and speed, from ideation to publishing, while keeping the Bank’s brand voice consistent and authentic.

Key accountabilities

1. Conceptualise and execute content that connect with audiences in a fast, mobile-first way.

2. Translate Bank’s campaigns and cultural moments into content experiences that feel native to each platform.

Job duties & responsibilities

1. Create content that’s culturally fluent and trend-aware with fast turnarounds

2. Develop content formats that are sticky, with compelling messages that strengthen Bank’s positioning and persona

3. Deliver videos with the right composition of editorial and creative elements to tell stories about Bank’s areas of focus, including people and culture.

4. Understand social video content, specifically short-form, vertical, snackable videos and, audience psyche

5. Able to react on the spot to trends

6. Ensure quality and consistency, and speak the language of the social platform in materials produced and published

Experience:

Proven track record of either growing a personal following or corporate account

Education/ preferred qualifications

Diploma/Degree qualifications from polytechnics/ film & media/ advertising/marketing/communications/ journalism or digital broadcast media.

Core competencies

1. Proven experience and skills in end-to-end creative content production and online publishing - from ideation to amplification.

2. Article and/or project portfolio that showcases your writing style and ability to craft short-form content

3. Passionate about and skilful in delivering engaging and relatable (audio-visual) storytelling through digital media that speaks directly to viewers/readers.

4. Enjoy tapping into trends and understand immediate requirements to push out videos quickly to ride the trend.

5. Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to motivate and work cooperatively with others, at all levels.

6. Creative and innovative, with a focus on continuous improvement.

7. Proven ability of being an exceptional team player, collaborating with multiple content owners and subject matter experts.

8. Strong sense of ownership of results.

Technical competencies

1. Proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro

2. Social media native with understanding in audience and content consumption data to support the creative decision-making process.

3. Well-versed in spoken and written English

4. Understanding and use of data and research to inform content strategies

5. Experience in managing and optimising content on social media accounts
