Responsibilities:
Lead a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to internal client specifications.
Manage and oversee end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of medium to high complexity.
Direct and controls all program and project work performed, monitor the progress versus project milestone. Reports and escalates progress/issues to management, as needed.
Assist in developing detailed project plans and schedules projects, including goals, risks and resource allocation. Monitors project results for significant deviations.
A consistent ability to deliver within deadlines, even under challenging circumstances while managing client expectations.
Team player with demonstrable skills in developing effective relationships with internal teams and clients.
Ability to adapt and act quickly to drive change by advocating innovative solutions and new ways of thinking.
Contribute to vendor and client relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met.
Liaise with other IT Teams like Infra, Security, Network Teams for project related tasks and activities.
Perform project financial control with close follow-up on vendor invoice, payment done/due/pending.
Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project. May coordinate resources across organizational boundaries.
Run regular project steer committee and project working committee meetings to update stakeholders on project status.
Manages communication with the business at a detailed functional level and discusses/resolves issues.
Plan and manage project execution phase including SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal, Go-Live Rollout and Post Implementation period.
Requirements:
Possess University Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification (PMP etc) in Computer Science/ Information Technology or its equivalent
Minimum of 12 years of technology experience with hands-on technical roles and 8 years of of project/program management
Good working knowledge on Network, Security and Infrastructure, and Cloud Experience (AWS etc)
Prior experience in banking related project implementations, configurations, development, software quality or testing or Strong Java development experience
Require running major projects across multiple systems with hands-on implementation experience
Excellent in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts, stakeholder management from business, compliance and etc
Proven capability to develop / adapt Process improvement and Process Transformation approaches and methods, and to lead and train others on the approaches and methods
Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and willing to improvise as per the situation demands
