Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

  • Acquire qualified New-To-Bank customers through contacts, referrals from clients and business development activities locally 

  • Procure new business through customer acquisition and manage relationships with existing customers

  • Engage other departments to get referral opportunities

Business Performance and Management

  • Attuned to the current economic and financial markets by attending trainings so as to be current and proficient in addressing customer’s queries

  • Achieve individual sales targets for wealth management, treasury products and insurance

  • Provide sound financial advice and dispensing customised solutions in alignment with the bank's standards and industry regulations

  • Deliver client satisfaction through tailored solutions according to client objectives and service issue resolution

  • Achieve service standards set by the bank

  • Work towards Preferred Banking’s intended goals 

People Management

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell, strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills

  • Committed in the improvement of self towards becoming a good ambassador of CIMB Preferred

  • Comply with all internal policies, procedures, processes as well as regulatory requirements

  • Attend all trainings 

Regulatory Compliance

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in any discipline 

Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing Requirements

  • Possess the relevant certifications, e.g., CLI, CGI, HI, M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, and M9A

Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in retail banking

Technical/Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements in Singapore

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Personal Skills (Soft Competencies)

  • Service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell.

  • Strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills
