(Cargill) Cloud Engineer

We seek a Cloud Engineer who will maintain, integrate and implement cloud platform capabilities within our organization and automation of application deployment pipelines to the cloud platform. In this role, you will help conduct cloud platform capability development, testing, configuration and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of capabilities and updates to cloud platform.

• Participate in compiling and prioritizing enhancements and defect resolutions to platform capabilities and implementing changes using GitOps practices.
• Conduct technical platform testing using code and debug core platform capabilities/services as needed.
• Perform standard and moderately complex application programming interface to automate components of the continuous integration delivery platform, coding and documentation of cloud platform capabilities/services. 
• Design continuous integration-delivery pipelines with infrastructure as code, automation and testing capabilities to facilitate automated deployment of applications.
• Provides input into the strategy and technical planning of cloud/containerization technology in accordance with internal and external security compliance standards.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

  
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of Five years of related work experience
• Mandarin speaking and writing skills will be an added advantage as this role will be required to liaise with key stakeholders in mainland China.
• Experience conducting application development activities
• Experience building and supporting fully automated cloud platform solutions
• Experience working with cloud services platform for highly scalable production applications
