Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development under the Business Intelligence & Analytics function, the Data Analyst will be part of a core team responsible for creating data analytics capabilities within the organization. You will be at the forefront of developing data driven processes and analytics to uncover actionable insights to drive commercial decisions for the business. You will be expected to collaborate with multiple business units across the company and offer data-driven solutions to enhance commercial objectives, activities, and impact.
Primary Responsibilities
Establish database management system for collecting, storing, cleaning, managing, and accessing data from multiple sources on an on-going basis
Deploy data analytics techniques in collaboration with relevant business units and functional teams to derive actionable insights in order to support decision making and achieving commercial targets
Utilize visualization tools to create dashboards, automated reports, etc. that are easily interpreted for functional teams as well as senior management
Immediate scope will be a ground up initiative in customer analytics to establish data protocols, insights and recommendations to support E-Commerce and Customer Insights teams
Collaborate with IT department on new data architecture integration with or migration from legacy systems
Be the resident expert on data science and advise on key ICT trends and best practices in the field
Assist with coordinating and implementing digital innovation strategies and initiatives across the organization
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Data Science/Analytics, Information Systems, or other relevant technical disciplines
1-3 years’ experience in data analytics or business intelligence and sound knowledge of systems and technology architectures
Familiarity with data repositories and its management, and also strong command of SQL
High proficiency in Python and R, as well as other relevant programming languages, tools and solutions in the data analytics domain
Experience in building automated processes and SOPs ground up for data analytics function. Basic understanding of machine learning and AI is advantageous
Advanced user of visualization tools such as PowerBI and/or Tableau, as well as Excel with VBA
Experience in hospitality industry and knowledge of industry metrics highly advantageous but not necessary
Fresh graduates with strong internship experience and can demonstrate required knowledge/skills level are welcomed to apply
