The regional eye system (RES) serves as a supporting platform to provide consultations and assist in planning and design of studies, grant proposals, statistical analysis and reporting in internal and external RES presentation, manuscripts for all research themes across SERI. The RES team projects span across clinical implementation, research and innovation, focusing on upskilling the primary eye care physicians to help manage the eye diseases in the community.
Responsibilities:
• Data quality controls and management, statistical analysis for epidemiological data as well as for genome-

• Compilation of data, summarizing and interpreting results of the analysis in reports and journal articles
• Interaction with study coordinators and other biostatisticians

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science, or above, in the field of Statistics, Applied Statistics, Genetic Statistics, Mathematics, or
Biostatistics
• Proficient in the use of major statistical analysis packages, preferably R, SAS or Stata
• Previous exposure to programming languages (Perl, shell scripting, or other languages)
• Meticulous with strong analytical and computer skills
• Strong interest in research work
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
