KSK City Labs is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KSK Land and is its in-house software engineering & data science team that uses digital platforms and machine learning to create seamless experiences for our customers as well as to create solutions to power KSK Land’s strategic decisions.

Day to day, the expectation of you is to:
Work closely with different business units to understand their business goals and translate unstructured business questions into quantitative problems.
Analyze user behavioral data to identify patterns, uncover opportunities, facilitate the formulation of business plans, and to improve conversion and reduce churn.
Apply analytical methods and algorithms to prototype, build, and deploy data products that generate business insights and improve operational efficiency.
Design and build reports and visualizations on business performance.
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Content, and Engineering to further optimize operations.
Promote a data-driven culture throughout the organization.
So, we are looking for individuals who possess the following:
Degree in Engineering, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or any related analytical field.
1-2 years’ of work experience in analytics and implementing ML/statistical models.
Experience in using SQL, Python/R or other statistical programming languages
Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau is a bonus.
Understanding of statistics concepts (e.g. hypothesis testing, regression analysis).
Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and consumer information.
Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Experience with startups, tech, or subscription businesses would be a plus.
Note: We are looking for this job to be face to face (ie. be based in Malaysia). We are open to perhaps consider if you are open to working remotely to start with, given travel constraints, but eventually move to KL.
