- Manage and build the process for financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
- Run the day-to-day finance operations needs including reviewing and processing of vendor invoices bookings, staff claims and payments
- Follow up with buyers / suppliers on various finance matters for the cross-border trade transactions
- Work within the group of companies (Affinidi and GoodWorker) to consolidate financial reporting for leadership and board
- Monitor key operating metrics such as cash flow, working capital, inventory turnover, etc.
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or any other related field
- 8+ years of experience running and scaling start-ups’ finance operations
- Well-versed in cross border finance and accounting matters and settlements via multiple currencies
- Experience managing finance and accounting for an operating company with physical assets is a must
- Experience in E-Commerce / Cross-border trade companies will be an added advantage
- Extreme attention to detail and deadline management
- Broad base of knowledge spanning strategy and business development, product management, engineering, operations, design and agile/lean development practices
- A great communicator who always finds the right angle for different target audiences
