Responsibilities
Lead and support key projects that deliver a business solution and support broader business development
Plan the project and monitor its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate with key stakeholders.
Apply a structured methodology and lead project management activities
Developing and managing a project plan, to support the activity, resources and interdependencies
Identifying and resolving issues and managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans
Taking the lead in managing relationships including internal and external team members, stakeholders and sponsors/project board
Reporting progress and directing communications for the project
Overseeing overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary
Conducting end project evaluation to assess how well the project was managed and preparing an end-project report
Help plan the project’s assurance activities including phase reviews
Facilitating stakeholder meetings: Organizing and leading regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress, address concerns, and provide updates.
Gathering stakeholder feedback: Collecting feedback from stakeholders to better understand their needs and expectations and to inform project decision-making.
Requirements
3+ years in Project Management within Logistics / Freight Forwarding industry
Project Management certification or designation, PMP ideal
Experience of Managing multiple Business Projects within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry
Experience in successfully managing a portfolio of projects
Experience with and knowledge of project management principles, methodologies and tools
Flexibility and adaptability to cope in fast-paced environment
