Section A: Summary of Job

The role will report to Manager, Trade Operations and support the team in managing and administering invoicing and settlements tasks related to the trading of gas, derivatives, and commodities. The analyst will also be responsible for the reconciliation of the company’s exchange-cleared derivatives transactions and will support the team with other operational responsibilities as necessary.

Section B: Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for customers for cargoes delivered and financial services transactions. Work closely with Trading, other Operational departments, and Finance team to ensure that pricing calculations and payment terms are in line with contract terms.

• Review invoices to ensure accuracy of invoice details including but not limited to cargo details, account coding and GST code. Obtain appropriate internal approvals and circulate invoices to the correct counterparties and/or customers.

• Complete required reconciliation activities ahead of deadlines.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure timely resolution of queries and issues.

• Validate Clearer statements against trade recaps and trade entry in ETRM.

• Support Singapore Business Team with month end settlement and reconciliation related processes.

• Provide ad-hoc coverage and BAU support for the Middle Office team across a varied job scope.

• Degree level education preferred but not a must. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Pro-active, and able to take initiative to complete tasks independently

• Able to work effectively in a team setting

• Self-driven and meticulous with strong focus on reporting deadlines

• Good interpersonal and communications skills, able to work well with colleagues across levels

• Candidates with experience in Gas Network Code and/or Terminal Use Agreement will be considered favorably
