The Opportunity.
This role will support the Director of Finance with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and business analytics. This role functions as a business partner company wide.
Your day to day.
1. Ensure timely reporting of monthly results for financials and key metrics.
2. Understand and link financial results to operational drivers.
3. Generate insights in management reporting.
4. Build and maintain financial models to support leadership team with strategic decision making.
5. Lead annual budget and quarterly forecasts for all departments, and the Group.
6. Continuously review and propose reporting improvements.
7. Support the team with ad hoc projects as required.
8. Managing up to two direct reports.
Who you are.
1. Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
2. 6-8 years' experience a finance role, in fast-paced environment, with prior managerial experience.
3. Inquisitive by nature, a problem solver and must have a keen interest in analysis.
4. Must be hands on and willing to lead and mentor a small team.
5. Must be willing to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing environments.
6. Effective verbal and written communication with the ability to interact with all levels is a must.
7. Strong experience with MS Office, with Excel modelling skills.
8. Must be self-driven and a team player.
9. Experience in Xero and Fathom will be advantageous.
