The Opportunity
As a technical writer at Quincus, you are part of the Product Marketing team that creates content about Quincus product new features, improves existing documentation and manages customer feedback loops. Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, you own your content and are responsible for delivering documentation that helps our customers successfully implement Quincus products.
To be successful in this role, you must also work effectively across different functions – including Product, Engineering, Commercial, Marketing – to contribute to the broad efforts of Quincus and help drive commercial success for both customers and partners.
Your day to day
1. Create high-quality product manuals, release notes, and other documentation resources for Quincus products.
2. Review and copyedit content developed by other individuals and documentation for consistency, branding, and continuously update content with current information.
3. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, product marketing, engineers, delivery, and additional stakeholders to ensure that customer needs are being met within our documentation.
4. Improve communication and information flow between teams through written and verbal communication.
5. Create and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications.
6. Measure and contribute to the continuous improvement of Quincus product documentation.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree (English, Communications, Engineering or Marketing).
2. Experienced with knowledge-based software such as Document360, Freshworks, etc.
3. Fluent written and spoken English. Another language is an advantage.
4. 5+ years of experience with SaaS/B2B/API product writing, logistics, and supply chain industry.
5. Highly creative and detailed-oriented person who is passionate about implementing new ways to deliver, author, analyze, and interact with technical content.
6. Excited about the logistics space and explaining technical concepts in an easily digestible manner.
7. Gaining a deep understanding of our product roadmap, customer needs, and market landscape.
8. A natural affinity with people and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
