Our client is seeking a dedicated and passionate Business Analyst to join their Project Management Office (PMO) department. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with agile team members, including product owners, software developers, and Scrum Masters. As a Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of transformation, performing responsibilities that are critical to the delivery of our client's products. What you'll do:
As a Business Analyst within the PMO department, you will play an integral role in driving transformation. Your primary responsibility will be fostering Agile principles for requirement gathering. You will empathise with stakeholders to understand their concerns and pain points, actively participating in solutioning and design processes. Your involvement will span from inception workshops to development sprint cycles, culminating in post-implementation reviews. You will also collaborate closely with business units, technology teams, and other stakeholders to ensure their active engagement. Your role will involve gathering requirements for IT-related projects through various methods such as interviews, workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions. Furthermore, you will facilitate stakeholder needs by translating them into requirements under the product owner's scope and direction.
Foster Agile principles and methods for requirement gathering
Understand and capture stakeholder concerns and pain points
Actively participate in delivery squad/team from inception workshops to development sprint cycle
Engage in post-implementation reviews
Work closely with business units, technology teams, and other relevant stakeholders
Gather requirements for IT related projects through interviews, workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions
Facilitate and clarify stakeholder needs, translating them into requirements under product owner's scope and direction
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Business Analyst position brings a blend of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills. You should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. We value your 1 to 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Requirements Analyst role. A passion for learning new technology is essential, as is your ability to communicate effectively and listen attentively. You should be well organised with a strong ability to prioritise tasks. Your ability to work under pressure in a team environment will be crucial to your success in this role.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferable
1 to 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Requirements Analyst role
Passion for learning new technology
