About the Business Analyst - Capital Markets (12 months contract) Role:
The Business Analyst needs to have strong capital markets functional knowledge. This Business Analyst will be part of the data framework project, which is one of the pivotal IT projects in capital market application landscape which focuses on managing pre and post-trade transactional reporting covering various regulations like MIFID, SFTR, EMIR, MAR, etc. It is central to sourcing and distributing of transaction data for compliance with its use of cutting-edge technology and data governance tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive business analysis to provide solutions for business needs
Work with the project team including product owner, senior developers, architects, BAs to deliver business requirements and improve business processes and systems
Work closely with stakeholders to define requirement and various artefacts around application development or enhancement
Specify business rules for regulatory reporting, business operations and transformations
Manage functional design and testing of solutions
Maintain and promote best practices around the data dictionary of the bank
Interact with developers to define implementation specs
Interact with other IT teams to explain and communicate on data services
Assist with the daily operations through scrum, Jira and Kanban, techniques
To succeed in this Business Analyst - Capital Markets (12 months contract) role, you will need strong experience in IT business analysis and functional exposure to the capital market domain. You must have a good understanding of various regulations like MIFID, SFTR, EMIR, MAR, etc.
Key Requirements:
Strong communication to bring consensus on requirements
Strong functional knowledge of financial product and regulatory reporting
Knowledge in the MIFID2/SFTR/EMIR/any APAC transaction regulatory reporting principles is desirable
Experience with capital market processes, e.g. Pricing, Sales/Trader workflow, etc.
Exposure to microservices-based architecture (Kibana, Collibra is a plus)
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think out of the box
Excellent communications and proven documentation capabilities
Skilled in data analysis using database queries (Sql/Oracle/Sybase), TSQL
A knowledge of FPML and XML/XSLT/XPath is an advantage
