About the Data Engineer Analytics
An exciting opportunity to work with a leading international organisation with a strong presence across the region. They are looking to hire a Data Engineer Analytics reporting to the Head of IT.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of data automation pipelines for efficient data processing and integration.
Support the implementation of data engineering best practices, including data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality assurance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and contribute to the design of data solutions.
Learn and work with data visualisation tools to assist in creating interactive dashboards and reports.
Gain familiarity with data warehousing tools such as BigQuery for data storage and retrieval.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and automation technologies.
To succeed in Data Engineer Analytics, you will need to have around 3 years of experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of data engineering concepts and tools.
Experience in Python, R, and other data technologies.
Experience in Data visualisation tools and data warehousing tools such as BigQuery
Familiarity with SQL and programming languages like JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Experience across various databases such as NoSQL/ OLTP systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
A passion for learning and a desire to grow in the field of data engineering.
