About the Database Architect (Oracle) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be reporting to the Head of Platform Architecture and be responsible for the design and deployment of critical database initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of the bank's database standards and strategy, focusing on database technologies and resiliency standards
Build relationships with stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices related to database technologies
Identify risks to the bank's data technologies and propose safeguards to mitigate them
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal commitments regarding data management and resiliency, and contribute to maintaining these commitments
To be successful in this Database Architect (Oracle) role in Singapore, you will need to have at least five years of database architecture experience and strong leadership exposure.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent
At least five years of experience in an architectural role
Deep understanding of Oracle DB and Postgres
Experience of Data Warehousing, Data Governance, and ETL
Understanding of Networking concepts
Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
