What you'll do:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the tech infrastructure that powers our client's product. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineers to design and build robust multi-cloud systems. Your expertise will be crucial in developing platforms and processes that enable developers to work more efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining application Build & Deploy Systems as well as Monitoring Infrastructure for applications running. A key part of your role will involve continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity. Additionally, you will manage external market integration with various fintech services while ensuring the security and integrity of systems through appropriate configurations.
Collaborate with Software Engineers to design and build highly available, multi-cloud systems
Develop platforms and processes that enhance developer efficiency
Maintain application Build & Deploy Systems as well as Monitoring Infrastructure for applications running
Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity
Manage external market integration with various fintech services
Ensure the security and integrity of systems through appropriate configurations
What you bring:
The ideal DevOps Engineer candidate brings at least three years of experience in a similar role. They are comfortable coding with programming languages such as Python and scripting languages such as Bash and has hands-on experience with either GCP or AWS, with bonus points for familiarity with both. Their knowledge extends to modern infrastructure management tools like Infrastructure-as-Code and IT automation frameworks and has extensive experience with Linux, containerization systems like Kubernetes and Docker, and a wide variety of storage systems.
At least 3 years of experience working in a similar role
Comfortable coding with programming languages such as Python/Golang and scripting languages such as Bash
Prior hands-on application development experience is essential
Hands-on experience with either GCP or AWS (bonus for knowing both)
Knowledge of modern infrastructure management tools, like Infrastructure-as-Code and IT automation frameworks
Extensive experience with Linux, containerization systems like Kubernetes and Docker
Experience with security concepts and configuration (permissions, service accounts)
