About the Direct Insights Analyst (12-month contract) Role:
Reporting to the Director, Direct Analytics, you will be a key member in collaborating closely with the business, marketing, membership, operations and demand supply management team to provide data analytics and customer insight support to direct digital commerce and membership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive demand increases through read-and-react analytics and measurement for the territory direct digital commerce
Be responsible for analytics and insights to improve key metrics such as demand, conversion and web funnel engagement
Conduct predictive and prescriptive analytics to identify and inform forward-looking growth opportunities for territory direct digital commerce
Provide ongoing and timely support for consumer moments like post-campaign learning agendas and recommendations on wins and improvement areas
Support regular forecasting and budget process with a bottom-up KPI-driven view that accurately captures and reflects the consumer demand, and highlight opportunities where potential unmet/unserved demand exists
Drive member demand through read-and-react analytics and measurement of the consumer life cycle (e.g. acquisition, retention, reactivation and lapse)
Collaborate with the membership teams to power member growth efforts through membership benefit measurement and testing within direct digital commerce
Deliver member insights to optimise member and demand forecasts for territory direct digital commerce
To succeed in this Direct Insights Analyst (12-month contract) role, you must be quantitative and comfortable working with large amounts of data and navigating across various platforms to paint a holistic picture of the business, and highly-independent and resourceful in dealing with ambiguity.
Key Requirements:
Three to six years of work experience in analysing consumer and sales data, cross-collaborating with key stakeholders in sharing insights and findings to shape or drive business growth
A highly motivated individual with an interest in data-driven consumer and marketing insights
Highly independent and resourceful in dealing with ambiguity
Prior experience with the following is a must:
SQL/SAS (other programming languages like Python is advantageous)
Visualisation tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Domo
Web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
