​Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Specialist to join their dynamic team in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a global banking environment, managing and supporting the Data Security and Endpoint Security technologies for the bank.

What you'll do:

As a Data Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our client's robust security infrastructure. You will manage, administer, and support their Data Security and Endpoint Security technologies, ensuring optimal performance and security. Your role will also involve handling technical transitions and validating security services from other regions to Singapore. You will participate in projects and proof-of-concept initiatives involving security services, always working with continuous improvement principles. As a subject matter specialist in data security technologies, your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining our client's high standards of data protection.

  • Manage, administer and support the Data Security and Endpoint Security technologies for the bank

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for the team and related activities to data security

  • Handle technical transition and validation of Security services from other regions to Singapore

  • Participate in projects and POC’s that may involve security services

  • Work with continuous improvement principles

  • Act as the Subject Matter Specialist on technologies within data security

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Data Loss Prevention Specialist role brings a wealth of IT security experience to the table. With at least 8-10 years' experience in administration and management of IT security technologies such as Symantec Data Loss Prevention, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Email Security, Data Classification among others. A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is essential. Your knowledge of different domains of IT Security will be invaluable, as will your experience in defining, implementing, and enforcing enterprise-level IT security policies. Your excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills will enable you to excel in this role, as will your strong understanding of ITIL processes.

  • 8 - 10 years of IT Security experience in administration and management of IT Security technologies primarily Symantec Data Loss Prevention, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Email Security, Data Classification and other endpoint & data security solutions

  • Bachelor's/Master's/Engineering graduate or equivalent technical degree in Information Technology or Computer Science

  • Knowledge of different domains of IT Security

  • Experience in defining, implementing, and enforcing enterprise-level IT security policies for endpoint and data security solutions

  • Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes
