About the IT Project Manager Role:
You will be responsible for leading and overseeing various technical initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in project and programme management with a focus on fostering collaboration among diverse technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with product managers, engineers, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes
Monitor projects and programs to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
Guide and oversee multiple technical programs throughout their life cycle, ensuring they align with business objectives
Effectively communicate program goals, objectives, and milestones to stakeholders
Facilitate collaboration among technical teams, promoting a unified approach to program delivery
Provide mentorship, coaching, and supervision to project teams
Address and manage project issues and risks to minimise impact on established baselines
Cultivate and maintain relationships by collaborating with business leaders, solving problems, building consensus, and achieving objectives
Develop and deliver progress reports, documentation, and presentations for diverse audiences
Synthesise information across departments for efficient communication, reporting, and expectation management
To succeed in this IT Project Manager role, you will require at least four years of experience in project and programme management.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or possess equivalent work experience
Demonstrate proficiency in utilising AWS services, including CDN, WAF, API gateway, ECS, Lambda, and RDS
Four years' project and programme management experience, including tracking and planning projects
Four years' experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment
Exhibit expertise in SDLC methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, and SDLC/Waterfall
Display strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills to lead diverse business and technology teams
Showcase creative and analytical problem-solving abilities in a collaborative environment
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Be self-motivated, decisive, and adaptable to changing demands
Experience in planning, designing, developing, architecting, and implementing cloud solutions on the AWS platform is highly advantageous
Previous experience as a Software Engineer will be advantageous
Proficiency with Mandarin/Chinese is required, as this role will be dealing with Mandarin speaking stakeholders
