What you'll do:
You will work closely with our business development team, using your expertise to review existing building energy systems and develop plans for improving their performance. Your ability to identify client needs and propose innovative solutions will be crucial in winning energy improvement projects. You will also have the opportunity to share your knowledge with others, providing training to both internal employees and external partners. This role offers the chance to stay on top of industry trends, as you keep abreast of the latest developments in energy efficiency technologies.
Develop energy performance improvement plans to achieve cost and energy savings for building owners
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare submission proposals for energy improvement projects
Establish and build relationships with customers and authorities
Identify problems and pain points of prospective clients, deriving viable and innovative solutions through collaboration with internal engineering teams, external vendors, solution and service providers
Propose suitable Energy Efficient solutions to customers with detailed operating & life cycle cost analysis
Provide technical support and assist in tender and bid queries
Impart knowledge to internal employees and external partners through training sessions
Keep abreast with the latest developments of innovative energy efficiency technologies in the market
What you bring:
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with specific expertise in managing HVAC systems in large scale commercial or industrial buildings. Your ability to conduct energy audits and manage chiller system retrofitting projects will be crucial to your success in this role.
Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of working experience in the Energy industry or related fields
Certified Green Mark Manager (GMM) or Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM)
Strong technical knowledge with experience managing HVAC systems in large scale commercial or industrial buildings
Good knowledge of ISO 50001 energy management system and BCA GM scheme
Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels within the company and industry
Analytical skills, organisational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priority as needed to meet deadlines
Proven success track record of selling concepts and design in a highly competitive market
Knowledge of Autocad, BAS controls, Machine Learning and/or AI programming languages is an added advantage
