An industry leader is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join their team in Singapore. You must have experience, specifically in product selling with expertise in flow and level instrumentation. This position covers Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
What you'll do:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing the sales strategy of the business. You will be responsible for identifying triggers for existing sales accounts, implementing action plans for every client, and developing a robust sales network. Your role will also involve managing the business growth for the country/region while exceeding budget targets. You will work closely with end users, consulting engineers and EPCs to qualify and develop opportunities in accordance with sales objectives. Additionally, you will lead negotiations from first customer contact for the project to closure of opportunities.
Identify opportunities for incremental growth in existing sales accounts
Develop sales tools that utilise a 'Solution Selling' approach
Work directly with end users, consulting engineers and EPCs to qualify and develop opportunities
Conduct technical training for the sales team focused on building consultative sales skills
Lead and initiate competition analysis, pricing analysis, market study and product benchmarking
Coordinate the completion of technical and commercial proposals with support from application team
Provide guidance and coaching to the Sales team, managing team performance
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Regional Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in sales strategy development and execution. With at least 10 years of relevant work experience under your belt - including three to five years in Regional SEA/APAC sales roles - you are well-versed in managing channel partners and OEM customers. Your familiarity with process instrumentations such as flow, level, pressure, temperature, analysers will be crucial in this role. You possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent to Engineering Science
Minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience in sales, including three to five years in Regional SEA/APAC sales roles
Experience in EPC projects (FPSO, O&G, Petrochem, Chemical)
Familiarity with process instrumentations such as flow, level, pressure, temperature, analysers
Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Fluency in English; knowledge of another Asian language is an advantage
