​Work for one of the world's largest and most successful chemical conglomerates. Known worldwide for its performance chemicals and a wide range of applications, they are presently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Manager job for their expanding team. You will be tasked with managing the P&L for the SEA and South Asia region.

About the Senior Commercial Manager Role:
Reporting to the Senior Director for Commercial, you will drive profitability of the region and identify where suitable growth opportunities would be.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of five direct reports across the South Asia and Southeast Asia region

  • Develop and identify a sales strategy aimed at generating additional revenue and new clients

  • Build and manage relationships with existing customers and distributors

  • Work with marketing, business development and product teams to identify suitable opportunities

  • Drive the development of the region through market assessment and analysis

The successful Senior Commercial Manager has strong sales and P&L management experience in the chemicals space.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering

  • At least 10 years of experience within the chemical space and have managed remote teams before

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable in a matrix organisation
