Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced System Engineer (Cloud) to join their dynamic team in Singapore. What you'll do:
As a System Engineer (Cloud), you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's infrastructure operations. You will be involved in the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of infrastructure systems. Your responsibilities will also include optimising system performance through regular tuning and updates. You will participate in development activities, assist with testing and implementation, and gather performance data for capacity planning. A key aspect of your role will be resolving infrastructure incidents by identifying problems and finding solutions.
Assist with the planning and design of infrastructure systems
Perform infrastructure operations activities such as installations according to design specifications
Maintain infrastructure through ongoing maintenance activities and implementation of agreed changes
Optimise infrastructure performance through tuning and software component updates
Participate in infrastructure development activities and assist with testing and implementation
Resolve infrastructure incidents through problem identification and resolution

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent professional qualifications) in a relevant field
3-5 years of relevant experience in system engineering or related roles
Experience with Microsoft Azure is highly desirable
Ability to perform under varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong problem-solving skills with a critical and analytical approach
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to guide team members
