Context of the role:
The Sales Operations Specialist acts as a business enabler to the sales team, helping them achieve revenue goals by ensuring process consistency and quality, implementing new processes to improve efficiency for the pre & post-sales activities.
  
Job responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support and reports on forecasting and pipeline activities, target setting, individual seller performance metrics, and quarterly business reviews

  • Maintain database accuracy and data quality in sales and marketing databases

  • Provide day to day operational and administrative support to the Sales and Marketing team

  • Support Sales team on new, renewal or upsell opportunities

  • Identify key stakeholders, researching and obtaining business requirements, and present solutions to begin the leads cycle

  • Set appointments for the sales team when a lead is qualified, developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams

  • Work closely with Operations and Finance to ensure 100% accuracy of documentation and timely closure of booked sales opportunities in the sales automation tool

  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the hiring manager


Job requirements ​

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in a sales operations, sales support role

  • Experience with CRM tools

  • Self-starter, ability to work independently within a team environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Written and oral fluency in English

  • Excellent work ethic and reliability
