Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Lead to join our MarTech team within an international financial institution. The AEM Lead will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of our AEM platform, ensuring it aligns with the overall digital marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AEM, a deep understanding of web content management, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable digital experiences that drive engagement and conversion.
Responsibilities
Platform Management: Lead the design, development, and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of developers, designers, and content authors, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Integration: Collaborate with the broader MarTech team to integrate AEM with other Adobe tools such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, and Adobe Customer Data Platform (CDP) to create a cohesive marketing technology ecosystem.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, IT, and business stakeholders to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Customization and Optimization: Drive the customization and optimization of the AEM platform to meet evolving business needs, including the development of custom components, templates, and workflows.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest levels of quality, performance, and security for all AEM implementations, following industry best practices and standards.
Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs for AEM users, and create detailed documentation to support ongoing platform management and troubleshooting.
Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in AEM and digital marketing to continuously improve the platform’s functionality and user experience.

Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in AEM or Adobe Marketing Cloud products.
7 plus years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager, including hands-on experience with AEM 6.x or later versions in a Bank or Fintech industry.
Proven track record of leading and delivering AEM projects in a large, complex organization, preferably within the financial services sector.
Experience with integrating AEM with other Adobe tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign) and third-party systems.
Strong proficiency in AEM, including experience with AEM development (HTL, Sling, OSGi, JCR), AEM workflows, and component creation.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular) as they relate to AEM.
Knowledge of cloud-based deployment and management of AEM in environments like Adobe Managed Services or AWS.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications: Adobe Certified Expert in AEM is highly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
