JOB SUMMARY

  • The Group’s Fit For Growth (FFG) Programme commenced in Q1 2024, with the aim of simplifying, standardising, and digitising the Bank’s processes, to provide a platform for Business growth and to ‘make it easier to get things done’.

  • As part of the Programme, a central team, the FFG Control Room, has been established to help structure, co-ordinate, prioritise, support, and monitor the initiatives that will be selected to deliver the efficiencies and growth opportunities.

  • A key workstream of the FFG Control Room is Programme Governance.  This workstream will develop and roll-out the overall governance model and structure of the Programme, including establishing the various committees and meeting hierarchy, managing data collection and information reporting, identifying and managing risks, issues and milestones, communicating required Standards that must be followed, monitoring compliance with these Standards, engaging with the various Business and Functional workstream, as well as the broader Risk and Group Internal Audit communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

  • Articulating the high-level FFG opportunity for the Bank, and the breaking-down of that by Business and Function, in order to provide clarity and transparency on the objectives of the Programme.

  • Understanding of the overall FFG Programme structure, covering all Business and Functional areas, their teams, and initiatives.

Business

  • Working closely with the Business and Function leaders and elected Programme contacts to ensure their culture and communications requirements are adequately supported.

  • Working closely with the Business and Function leaders and elected Programme contacts to ensure the required ‘change’ is successfully driven across the Bank.

Processes

  • Managing the development of the Fit For Growth culture and communications strategy and artefacts to deliver the required Bank-wide awareness and change.

  • Managing the relationships with key change-related stakeholders, such as Human Resources, to ensure ongoing alignment of messaging and feedback to drive leadership engagement.

  • Developing and delivering content to drive an increased mindset around sustained cost management.

  • Supporting teams in developing content for external communications to all relevant stakeholder audiences.

  • Developing and managing relevant communication and documentation platforms, such as Confluence, MS Teams, Pulse and SharePoint.

People & Talent

  • Leading through example and helping to build an appropriate team culture and values.

  • Setting an appropriate tone and expectations and working in collaboration with all stakeholders and partners.

Risk Management

  • Understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the potential impact that the Programme could have on the ability of the Bank to manage those risks.

  • Managing the identification and capture of central FFG Programme risks and issues and monitoring these through to their mitigation and closure.

Governance

  • Understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

  • Understanding of the Change Delivery Standards and Guidance, ensuring approved initiatives are managed in line with the Bank’s various governance policies and procedures.

  • Ensuring that all culture and communications deliverables and produced in line with the Bank’s style and branding guidelines.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Our Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant University degree / qualification.

  • 10+ years of experience in change management.

  • Change Management experience and training.
