The Role Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will play an important role in the development of multiple highly visible deliveries with the primary responsibilities around development activities.

  • The candidate will be expected to take ownership, responsibility and accountability for software deliveries.

  • The candidate will work closely with the other team members and stakeholders to design and implement strategic solutions. The candidate is expected to work in a dynamic global team with developers, project managers, business stakeholders and other technical experts across multiple locations.

Strategy

  • Identification and implementation of strategic solutions for the Counterparty Credit Risk Management.

Business

  • Implementation of the right business solution for supporting the portfolio. It’s pure technical role where candidate have the capabilities to write, debug, explain and analyze code.

  • Candidate have to understand the latest technologies and related vulnerabilities to deliver a secure and robust solution.

People & Talent

  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values in team. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with all stekeholders.

  • Collaborate to retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.

Governance

  • Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the stanadards followed in team and suggest the improvements.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years of experience in Banking/Financial IT industry . 

  • Education: Bachelor's / Master’s degree in computer Field

Role Specific Technical Competencies

  • Java knowledge and experience in developing scalable, multi-threaded applications

  • Experience of developing microservice in Java & Spring boot applications

  • Knowledge of dev ops tools like Jenkins, Docker, GitHub, Ansible, Artifactory, and UpGuard

  • Understanding of Cloud based deployment strategies and tools like OpenShift, Kubernetes, public cloud

  • Understanding of SQL queries and database objects

  • Knowledge and experience of working on streaming based solution like using Kafka

  • Understanding of ELK stack
