Role Responsibilities 

Job Summary

  • Delivers the programme within agreed finances

  • Track and coordinate the program portfolio and its dependencies

  • Manage collective activities, issues, and risks

  • Run the programme steering committee meetings

  • Accountable to the business stakeholders for delivering the change

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Managing the end to end initiative plans, coordinating activities across all resources necessary to deliver the initiatives including change management activities, within budget and time constraints.

  • Managing initiatives to the bank’s defined agile delivery framework, complying with the Governance Policy and the Project Management Standards, and ensuring staff working on the initiatives are aware and complying

  • Compliance with the SDF Control Framework

  • Managing the day-to-day running of multiple initiatives and ensuring Scrum Masters execution against the AMP

  • Mitigating and resolving risks and issues which may impair delivery

  • Delivering the initiative’s products and processes into BAU

  • Implementing initiative closure procedure

Business

  • Setup of the Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Preparing quality MBR materials (ToR, Packs, Minutes etc

  • Reporting RAG status to QPRs/ MBRs/FORCs

  • Ensuring Clarity is up to date including static data, status update including RAG status, key milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues and resource forecasts, and they are tracked & reported to the MBR/QPR

  • Ensuring that all submissions to committees (PED, Red packs, Closure Reports, Benefit Reports etc.) are of the right quality and are timely

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and influence stakeholders in understanding risk and impacts, importance and priorities on demand identification, assessment, response and reporting

  • Coordinate implementation and adoption of agreed initiatives across the function including training, communication and awareness.

People & Talent

  • Strong stakeholder management skills in handling wide ranging and senior stakeholders across segments/product areas

  • Ability to work with cross functional teams across business and technology

  • Ability to oversee execution of multiple initiatives, projects and product increments delivery

Risk Management

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Governance

  • Be the ‘Gate-Keeper’ of the agile management process, ensures the governance of the process is followed by internal and external stakeholders.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Lead the Enterprise Technology (ET) ITSM to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key stakeholders

  • Global – ITSM/ITOM; GRC; Finance; Legal; HR

Other Responsibilities

  • Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in ET-ITSM; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats); 

Our Ideal Candidate 
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Scrum Master Certified, optional PMP Certified with 2 years Agile delivery experience

  • At least 5 full-cycle, end to end large scale ITSM/ITOM SaaS implementation experience, though ServiceNow is preferred.

  • 10 years in Agile/ Scrum Master/ project management experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and grow teams, manage operations, and mentor junior members.

  • A history of leading and contributing to business development pitches.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and a results-oriented approach to project delivery.
