Job Description
Position Summary:
The Scrum Master will enable in-house Agile Squads to support the successful delivery of healthcare IT innovation programs, and shape the Scrum culture in our organizational agile transformation journey.
The role focus on driving scrum teams on the agile/ scrum way-of-working and continual improvement, organizing & leading the scrum ceremonies, and support the teams by removal of impediments. As a coach to team members, he/ she will enable improvements in team’s performance in quality and speed for agile software development delivery.
The Scrum Master will also work closely with Product Owners, Program Directors and other stakeholders to plan and implement effective iterative software delivery for the innovation programs.
Responsibilities:
Lead and/or facilitate daily scrum standup meetings, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings
Coach the Agile Squads for continuous improvement, creativity and efficiency of the development outputs
Lead to remove impediments for the Agile Squads in daily work
Expert in estimation of team velocity and planning for agile software development delivery
Support Product Owner to curate product backlog so as to enable readiness for future sprints
Enable effective communication, collaboration and conflict resolution
Act as safeguard for the Agile Squads, and shield teams from distraction and interferences
Champion in Agile practices
Ad-hoc project/ program management tasks
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as Scrum Master, preferably with Scrum Master Certification
Minimum 5 years of experience in Software development
In-depth knowledge and experience with agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
Experience in team leadership and coaching
Servant leader personality
Effective communicator and excellent stakeholder management skills
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
