Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS) is a multi-award winning HealthTech agency appointed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to support Singapore’s public healthcare sector.

We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect who can develop an Enterprise Architecture Strategy, implement the Enterprise Architecture roadmap, manage stakeholders, set standards and governance for the enterprise architecture as well as manage the department.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, your role & responsibilities include:
  
(1) Developing Enterprise Architecture Strategy
  • Drive alignment of enterprise architecture strategy and design with the overall business strategy
  • Design the enterprise architecture to support the IT strategy
  • Develop and communicate the overall strategy and enterprise architecture to ensure support by all stakeholders 
  • Develop a roadmap to transition current state architecture to a future state enterprise architecture
  • Present feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
  • Provide high-level directions to set-up the enterprise systems
  • Synthesise diverse enterprise needs and perspectives, conduct business reviews, document current systems and develop original and fresh ideas, solutions and recommendations.
  • (2) Implementing the Enterprise Architecture roadmap
  • Synergise the portfolio of systems and programmes to evaluate their relevance to the Enterprise Architecture roadmap
  • Oversee the transition of current business practices and processes to enable delivery of appropriate solutions
  • Orchestrate the portfolio of programmes to execute the enterprise architecture design
  
(3) Managing stakeholders
  • Garner buy-in and support for the overall enterprise architecture strategy
  • Influence business stakeholders to shift priorities, resources, and budgets to align with the enterprise architecture roadmap
  • Build strong partnership with business and IT stakeholders to create ownership to achieve the drive enterprise architecture goals
(4) Setting standards and governance for the enterprise architecture
  • Set-up an Enterprise Architecture governance framework
  • Facilitate the formation of Enterprise Committees that drive the architecture reviews, development policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of IT within the organisation
  • Drive the architecture governance forums to align to the enterprise architecture roadmap
(5) Managing the Department
  • Oversee department management including budgets, forecasting, work allocations and staffing
  • Develop staff through ongoing coaching, mentoring and career discussions
  • Define common goals, direction and accountability among staff
  • Drive effective performance management practices within department in accordance with company policies and procedures
  
  
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, although consideration will be given to experience and certifications in lieu of degree.   
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience
  • Demonstrated leadership in at least two architecture domains.  Examples of domains:  business process, mobile, online, batch, integration, analytics, security, infrastructure.
  • Experience in health care information systems would be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Experience with IT transformation or execution of multi-year IT road maps is an advantage.
