Vice President, Senior Program Manager

Information Technology Department

Job Responsibilities:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of VP – Senior Program Manager within Information Technology Department under Asian Systems Office. The candidate will report to the Head of Department, and drive portfolio of projects and initiatives of the bank.

  • Implement and manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives from various business units in Bank APAC region

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to establish business process standardization and promote digitalization and automation across the region

  • Extend hands-on project support to teams based in diverse time zones including working with on-site and remote service providers and offshore teams

  • Work collaboratively and influence all levels within the team including senior leadership from technology and operations to drive projects towards intended business outcomes

  • Provide clarity and direct team members to execute project objectives successfully

  • Collate and oversee budgetary forecast, and actual utilization of projects budget and team resources

  • Foster an environment oriented to trust, open communication, and cohesive team effort

  • Prepare and conduct Digital Transformation portfolio status meetings to leadership team, and facilitate issue resolution and escalation as required

  • Keep a consistent oversight of projects status , risks/issues and seek timely decisions

  • Foster continuous improvement to project management practices and share best practices within the team and department

  • Ensure all project deliverables align with established standards and meet stakeholder expectations

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience as a Portfolio/Program Manager in Banking industry

    • Demonstrable experience with stakeholder management is essential

    • Proficiency in project management software/tools

    • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment

    • Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail and ability to work under pressure

    • Must hold relevant certifications and/or have completed professional trainings in program/project management

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

    • Strong project management and organizational skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Certified Program Management Professional (PgMP) and/or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is mandatory
