Role and Responsibilities
    
Business Analyst (Data Analytics)
The Business Analyst will be responsible for defining the business and functional requirements of the project. He/She will work with the business stakeholders (e.g. ministry or cluster users) to understand in-depth the demands/needs of the stakeholders and translate the needs to functional requirements for implementation. He/She will also work with the delivery teams comprising project managers, change management specialists, business analysts and clinical subject matter experts to deliver the project.
Job Description
a. Work with all relevant parties/stakeholders to advise users on adoption/alignment of data analytics technologies and systems.
b. Lead and support in the collation of business and clinical requirements of MOH and cluster stakeholders to recommend the appropriate data analytics solutions.
c. Participate in data management workgroup and committees to drive and support cluster/institution data analytics initiatives
d. Lead and support in problem analysis, opportunities identification, improvement measures definition and proposal recommendation to supervisor, workgroup and management.
e. Lead and support the curation and maintenance of data catalogue. Guide and provide advice to users on the right datasets to be use.
f. Review and support the MOH users in the yearly IT budget reviews.
g. Undertake and initiate any data analytics requests as directed by management in alignment with MOH objectives and goals.
    
Requirements / Qualifications
    
Job Requirements
a. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
b. At least 6 years of working experience in the information and software industry
c. Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
d. Resourceful, proactive, flexible and has an excellent working attitude.
e. Good written and presentation skills.
f. Able to interact and work well with people at all levels.
g. Knowledge of business and IT in healthcare industry is an added advantage
