  1. Establish the product’s technical vision and lead all aspects of technological development

  2. Hands-on management of the strategic direction, development and future growth.

  3. Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company’s services.

  4. Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all web-based services.

  5. work with UX and tech team to develop the platform and have deep technical knowledge and strong managerial background.

Qualifications & Skills:
The successful candidate will:

  • Have designed, launched and scaled consumer applications to thousands of users

  • Has operated successfully in a “startup” kind of environment; i.e. with limited resources and relying on various partners

  • Is technically superior, understands how to construct a system that performs reliably in real time and is highly secure

  • Have 8+ years of demonstrated results in Software Development, Architecture and (Agile) project management, preferably with LAMP (e.g. PHP, MySQL, Zend Framework) and knowledge of relevant trends/technology

  • Be familiar with high scalability transactional and marketplace environments

  • Have proven track record in operating international platforms

  • Be a hands-on leader with bias for action; e-commerce, data analytics or  marketplace experience essential

  • Be capable of leading and motivating a team

  • Be fluent in English
