Finance Analyst (SG)

About Department

The Technology department provides IT application services for the Bank. We leverage on best practices in business solutions delivery, design and development to meet the Bank’s vision and business objectives.

Our strategy is primarily driven by the long term and short-term business strategies and objectives of the Bank. Our strategic focus is to align IT with the Business, create flexibility and capacity in IT infrastructure, and consolidate for scale, time to market, and risk management.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

                Create PR/GR/Extract reports using SAP system.

                Process invoice payments.

                Financial Data Management - Ensuring accurate/up-to-date data entries.

                Work with various senior managers to monitor utilization of budget.

                Aids in software, hardware contracts renewal and budget oversight.

                Aids in project budget oversight.

                Prepare monthly financial dashboard reports.

                Assist with yearly budget exercise.

                Asset Management – Manage laptops inventory, issuance, write-off of assets, etc.

                Other Finance/Asset Management related ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Finance Lead

 

Qualifications and Skills Required

 

 

                    Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance/ Business Management or related field.

                    Preferably 2 years’ relevant experience in a Finance Institution, Audit or Consultancy firm.

 

                    Fresh grads with relevant internship experience in Finance, Audit or Consultancy may apply.

 

 

                    Above average Excel skills (Advance formulas, pivot tables, power query, building of reporting

dashboard). Strong in data analysis using excel.

 

                    Have good knowledge in using M365, a good grasp of Outlook, Excel, SharePoint.

                    Excellent internal communications, written and verbal communication skills.

                    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

                    Strong Attention to details. Understand the importance of data discipline.

                    Willing to learn attitude.

                    Able to handle confidential data in a professional manner.

                    Good experience in managing/responsible/implementing business process improvement.

                    Have working experience and advance understanding of SAP system (PEMS) would be a plus.

                    Experienced in software and related maintenance contractual/commercial processing will be a

plus.

                    Good knowledge in Power Point and have prior experience in preparing PPT slides for

reporting purpose.Knowledge in Power BI will be a plus.

                    Experienced as a PMO support in Bank Projects will be a plus.
