  • ​Follow monitoring framework to on-board monitoring tasks for application operation excellence

  • Work with application support and development team to identify application’s monitoring gap and analyse required actions to reduce the gap

  • Guide and support application production support or development team on how to implement monitoring tasks

  • Explore further risk and opportunity to enhance monitoring framework including standard, procedure and tools

  • Follow standard process to build and implement service automation request for application operation excellence

  • Explore further technical options to enhance standard process of implementing automation requestSetup and maintain standard operation excellence tools including monitoring, alert, performance management and data management etc

  • Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in application development

  • Working experience in application development using Linux, Java, Weblogic, JBoss, MQ, Apache Web, Oracle etc

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience with CI/CD tools

  • Minimum 1 years of working experience with DevOps or Scrum

  • Minimum 1 years of working experience with log management tool like Splunk, ELK, BMC etc

  • Basic knowledge or concept of Cloud, Container, Micro services

  • Self-motivated and strong self-study ability to keep up with rapid changes by constantly updating technical skills and knowledge

  • Possess the ability to both analyze systems and think creatively to come up with innovative solutions

  • Willingness to work over the weekend and after business hours, as may be required, to support application deployments and/or production support
