Job Description

Resolution Planning Project Manager (6 months contract), Risk Management Group

Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic individual to join our team as a Resolution Planning Project Manager. This critical role is responsible for leading the execution of the Bank's resolution planning. The successful candidate will drive project management initiatives, from planning and execution to reporting in the context of resolution planning and broader support in the Risk Management Group – Chief Operating Officer team. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, a keen eye for data analysis, and the ability to manage complex projects to successful completion, ultimately contributing to the Bank's adherence to regulatory standards.

1. Responsibilities:

Resolution Planning & Strategy

• Lead the implementation, and maintenance of the Bank’s resolution planning documentation.

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure resolution strategies are comprehensive, practical, and effectively implemented.

Project & Program Management

• Oversee project management activities related to resolution planning, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within scope.

• Support the RMG COO team in project planning, consolidation, and execution, including meeting scheduling, presentation preparation, and document management.

• Monitor project progress against plans, identify potential risks and issues, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, utilizing project management software and tools to track key metrics and milestones.

• Ensure project adhere to established project methodologies and standards.

Stakeholder & Governance Engagement

• Collaborate closely with resolution planning Working Group and manage committee meetings.

• Provide timely updates on the progress of resolution planning to relevant risk committees.

• Drive and facilitate end-to-end workflow discussions with stakeholders across all organizational levels to design and implement new processes in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Analysis

• Perform review and challenge of the data gathered to identify insights and prepare comprehensive reports to inform decision-making.

• Prepare committee meeting materials including production of meeting agendas and minutes

2. Qualifications:

• Experience in a business management office, risk management or similar function within banking or financial services sector

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Risk, Finance, or a related field

• At least 5-7 years of experience in business management, project management, or a related role. Knowledge and experience of Recovery and Resolution Planning in financial institutions will be an advantage.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities.

• Good quality communication (written and verbal) for senior internal/external stakeholders,

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency with business management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Knowledge of business operations, risk management, process improvement, and performance tracking.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
