JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Business Development Lead in Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate Asia-Pacific leads projects of significant size and complexity, or portions of such projects. In this role, you will identify, evaluate and negotiate new sales and marketing growth opportunities across multiple of areas. We seek a professional to perform significant analysis to identify and develop optimal revenue models, sales and distribution channels, pricing and new product development strategies.

In this role, you will identify, evaluate and negotiate new sales and marketing growth opportunities across multiple of areas. We seek a professional to perform significant analysis to identify and develop optimal revenue models, sales and distribution channels, pricing and new product development strategies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop unique market insights and devise relevant strategy scenarios and proposals.
- Monitor profitability, productivity and growth targets.
- Plan and coordinate business reviews, resource allocations, organization structures and financial analysis.
- Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships including financial arrangements, customer sharing and intellectual property rights.
- Prioritize and track investments across new product development initiatives.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of four years of related work experience in commercial roles or business development
- Hands-on with Data/Systems - ability to fluently navigate into systems/ slice-dice data/make reports
- Hands-on with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent English verbally and written
- Other regional language is a plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- University MBA graduate
- Knowledge of the food industry or cocoa & chocolate industry dynamics.
- Experience in portfolio- and project management.
- Experience to lead a cross-functional team of individuals through coaching and feedback.
