About this role; responsibilities & ownership
Technical Recruiter
  • Sourcing, screening and engaging passive and active candidates
  • Partner with senior leaders across the organization to understand their hiring objectives and develop team recruiting strategies to hit headcount goals.
  • Help initiate creative and scalable changes to our existing recruiting strategy. For example, using data to drive conversations with hiring teams to find the most efficient and customer-centric means to attract top talent.
  • Track and analyse metrics and report on hiring progress to business leadership on a regular cadence.
  • Concentrate on creating strategic plans for sourcing candidates with diverse backgrounds for each of your roles.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams like Engineering, Product, Marketing, Investment Office, Finance, Legal and C-suites to deliver a high-quality and holistic candidate experience.
  • Perform reference checks and process background checks
  • Use a combination of traditional postings, social networking resources, and creative sourcing techniques to procure candidates
  • Collaborate closely with the People team and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure business needs and goals are fulfilled.
HR Generalist
  • Responsible for managing the full spectrum of employee lifecycle activities.
  • Review, develop and establish enhanced HR processes to drive the business towards achieving its goals.
  • Develop, review and establish Learning and Development programmes, succession planning, compensation & rewards according to the needs of the organisation
  • Review and maintain HR systems and processes to achieve heightened accuracy and efficiency
Requirements & qualifications
  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience and or HR generalist experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Good grasp of technical requirements in startups and internet companies preferred
  • A passion for building teams and delivering exceptional candidate experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness.
  • An active and data-driven approach to problem-solving; you enjoy making sense of the trends and using the insights to better your process to make it more efficient.
  • A growth mindset and truly flexible. You can shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change (At a fast-growing startup, they often do).
  • An interest in working in a cross-functional and fluid environment, the ability to learn quickly, and no desire to take yourself too seriously (a wry sense of humour is always appreciated!).
