RESPONSIBILITIES
This Role Is Responsible For The Group's HR Functions, Leading A HR Team Of 7, Across 6 Business Units In Singapore And Malaysia. This Role Reports To Chief Executive Officer

Responsibilities Include:

Corporate:

  • To Provide Inputs For Annual Report And Sustainable Report

  • To Involve In Remuneration Committee Meeting (Feb Of Every Year) To Present Remuneration Proposal Of Key Management Personnel To RC Chairman And RC Members For Approval.

  • To Prepare Transfer Pricing Of Corporate Fee Charges To Respective BUs.

  • To Provide Professional Advice On The Interpretation Of HR Policies And Procedures, Employment Legislation To Respective BUs.

  • To Provide Business Partner Support To Respective BUHs To Resolve HR Issues To Align With Business Plans.

  • Review, Rollout And Communicate HR Policies, Processes And Procedures For Alignment And Compliance With Local Statutory Requirements As Required.

  • To Lead Annual Manpower Planning Exercise In Sept Of Every Year. Discussion With Respective BUHs On Their Business Plan And Their Workforce Forecast In The Upcoming Year.

  • To Prepare Payroll Budget (Sept - Nov)To Align With Their Workforce Planning For Upcoming Year.

Staff Engagement & Relations

  • To Be Chairperson To Lead Dinner And Dance Committee Team For Planning, Organising Annual Dinner And Dance (Usually In April Of Every Year)

  • Manage Employee Relations Including Handling Grievances And Disciplinary Issues.

  • To Conduct Focus Group Meeting With Workers And Bargainable Staff.

  • To Lead HR Team To Organize Engagement Activities, Festive Season Celebration Activities, Eg. CNY Prayer, 7th Mth Prayer, Xmas Party, Mid-Autmun Celebration, DND And Etc

Recruitment & Selection:

  • To Understand The Hiring Needs And Requirements From Hiring Manager.

  • Drive The Recruitment Process By Sourcing And Interview For Talent

  • To Propose Salary Package For Shortlisted Candidates

  • Succession Planning

Compensation And Benefits

  • Insurance Renewal And Negotiation

  • AI,VB,PS

  • Ensure Accuracy And Timely Processing Of Monthly Payroll And Statutory Returns.

  • Conduct Salary And Benefits Review To Ensure Market Competitiveness And Internal Equity Within The Group.

Training & Development

  • To Review And Assess Areas Of Development Required To Develop Training Programs For Staff Which In Line With Business Needs

  • To Recommend Courses For Staff According To Their Competency Gaps

  • Handle Enquiries On Course Sponsorship Request And Training Bond Management.

  • To Work With E2I, Union On Hiring Workers Who Were Retrenched (Mainly From F&B/ Hotel Industry)

  • To Work With Yellow Ribbon, APSN To Fill The Hiring Gaps

Industrial Relations:

  • Work Closely With FDAWU And Bargainable Staff On Negotiation Of Collective Agreement.

  • To Conduct Enquiry Session On Disciplinary Issues For Bargainable Staff Together With Union Representatives.

HRIS

  • To Implement And Drive The HRIS Projects ,Eg. EHR System, E-Attendance System, Clocking System And Door Access System

Others

  • Appointed As Data Protection Officer And To Ensure Compliance Of PDPA, Manage Personal Data Protection Queries, Foster A Data Protection Culture Among Staff

  • Safety Committee Team: Appointed As Risk Management Member And Risk Assessment Leader For Hanwell Holdings Limited.To Attend Monthly Safety Committee Meeting To Address Safety Issue Of Workplace. To Lead, Prepare And Conduct BizSafe Level 3 Audit Every 3 Years.

  • To Be Corppass Sub Admin User For 14 Entities

  • To Be Dorm Operator Of Temporary Living Quarter (Ceased In Mar 2021)
