Duties and Responsibilities
• Implement IT Systems to support business requirements, which also involves daily IT administrative and support activities as well as basic network configuration and maintenance
• Ensure operational readiness by monitoring status of critical infrastructure and services, and maintaining operational plans/procedures such as disaster recovery plans, backup plans, etc
• Assist the internal cross-functional teams to troubleshoot Linux/VMware/Windows server issue, and provide innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
• Designing and implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current networks
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
• Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
• Manage scheduled backup, offsite storage and restore request
• Manage Virtual Machine (VM) host including provisioning, cloning and creation of new VM
• Provide new staff with PC/account setup and orientation as part of employee on-boarding process and maintain user management tasks on daily basis
• Manage IT vendor, contract and outsourcing management to ensure procurement, installation and life-cycle maintenance of IT hardware and software
• Work closely with other departments to ensure IT systems supports business and operational needs


Requirements
• Bachelor degree or diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in IT operations/IT support/Systems Administration
• Working experience in Linux system knowledge (Redhat/CentOS)
• Experience in designing and implementing network solutions
• Experience in installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, firewalls, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
• Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V), enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools
• Experience in Microsoft Office 365 management, Active Directory, Windows Server System
• Knowledge in IT infrastructure and assets management
• Experience in developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
• A strong self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving and growing environment
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to be on standby support when require
