Role and Responsibilities
    
1.1.1         Job Role Description
The Application Administrator is responsible for configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of middleware and applications such as Informatica, Git Hub and Nexus repository which are part of an analytic ecosystem. He/She would also be responsible for monitoring, performing resource management and resolving security vulnerabilities on the said applications. To ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the interconnected applications as data gets ingested and transferred within analytic ecosystem.
 
1.1.2         Responsibilities
 
(a)    Perform administrative and engineering tasks associated with managing the Informatica's platform and Git Hub & Nexus repositories such as maintenance, disaster recovery, failover support, clustering and architecture & performance tunings, etc.).
(a)    Isolate, troubleshoot, diagnose, report and resolve issues on applications.
(b)    To proactively plan, test and update patches for application.
(c)     To resolve any security vulnerabilities for applications within the remediation timeline.
(d)    To perform basic Linux and Windows server operations.
(e)    To install and configure software on Windows jumphost and Citrix Apps.
(f)      Responsible for flow of data within the different entities in the analytic ecosystem.
    
Requirements / Qualifications
    
(a)    Minimum Diploma/Degree in Computing Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
(b)    At least four (4) years of IT experience and two (2) years in a high volume Informatica Administration – BDM (Blaze, Spark), Data Catalog, Enterprise DataLake and Data Quality.
(c)     Familiar in managing Git Hub and Nexus repositories
(d)    Knowledge of Windows jumphost and Citrix Virtual Apps
(e)    Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
(f)      Strong interest in learning new and emerging technologies.
(g)    Good understanding of security and systems best practices.
(h)    Experience with Shell scripting for administrative automation
(i)      Experience in healthcare industry is an added advantage
