Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and continuously improving an organisation-wide monitoring mechanism of IT Security-related events
  • Assist in developing and continuously improving an organisation-wide IT Security Incident/Alert Management Framework covering different geographies
  • Assist in driving and maintaining oversight of all IT Security-related events, incidents and/or investigations
  • Assist in ensuring time synchronisation and availability of logs to sustain the monitoring mechanism
  • Assist in conducting technical and in-depth evaluation to recommend and implement IT Security measures to facilitate the scope of responsibility
  • Assist in establishing linkups with relevant IT Security incident authorities (e.g. SINGCERT) and supporting bodies (e.g. Forensic vendors)
  • Assist in providing an ongoing view on the state of IT Security, and provide recommendations on further improvements to existing IT Security measures
  • Assist in creating a framework to monitor IT Security Intelligence relevant to the organisation 
  • Assist to ensure ongoing compliance to relevant IT legislative/regulatory requirements (e.g. PDPA, MAS TRM & PCI), and to the organisation’s IT Security policies, standards, and procedures

Requirements
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant IT Security work experience
  • Possess security related certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA, with strong knowledge in IT legislations such as PDPA, MAS TRM, PCI, SGX, and ISO 27001
  • Diligent to ensure that the root cause(s) of all IT Security events are identified and remediated in a timely manner
  • Highly disciplined and diligent in driving deliverables within strictly defined timelines
  • Strong presentation skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Disciplined in being guided by a set of formalised security policies, standards, procedures, and frameworks
  • Logical and methodological, with good planning & organisational skills
  • Able to work independently, and as a strong team player
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working in larger organisations with larger setups and various lines of businesses
